Basketball Play Designer v5 - 2007 Edition

The complete basketball play editor for both coaches and recreational players.

Building a Play:

Basketball Play Designer takes a unique approach to building plays.  You can add players and place them wherever you would like on the court/screen.

When you have added your player, you can add motion, passes, and multiple play sequences.

Other Flash Tutorials:

Step 1)  First Add Players to the Screen By Right Clicking or Using the Options Menu

Step 2) Right Click on the Player - Add Custom Pattern and Draw the Route Using the Left Mouse Button at each point of the route.  Click the Right Button to End.

Step 3) At the end of the sequence, you must mark one player to start with the ball and one player to end with the ball.  This will complete a sequence, and you can then add another. The player with the ball will show a dotted line denoting a dribble, and the ball pass line will be shown from beginning to end with a special crossed line.

Step 4) You can now change the color of any route for any player to any of seven different colors.  This can be use to denote something special or specific on the court.

Step 5) When you are done with this sequence, you can add another sequence.  At this point the players will go to the start of the next sequence where you can then add routes and picks and again end the sequence by marking a player as the one with the ball when the sequence ends.  It can be the same player as the one with the ball.  On animation, this start/end of the sequence will result in a pass if two different players have been denoted.
