Using Play-by-Play Tracker: Basketball Play-by-Play Tracker takes a unique approach
to storing in game play-by-play details. First add the team, add a game,
and enter information.
Take a Look:
Before you add a new game, make sure that you
have information about the opponent and the players on that team; as well as
yours if it is first time you are using the system. If you have
information about the opponent and the players on that team, continue to step 3.
Step 1) Adding
Teams: Go to Maintenance -> Add Team and when you are done entering
information about the team, click add to record.
Step 2) Adding
Players: Go to Maintenance -> Add Players and when you are done entering
information about the team, click add to record. On this screen, you will
have the options to not only add players, but remove players from teams.
This will allow you to maintain your records year to year. (Note: Deleting
a player will not delete history about that player)
Step 3a) Adding
A New Game: Go to File -> Add New Game. Choose the home team
and visiting team and enter the other information about the game. When you
are done adding the game, this is active game on the screen.
Step 3a) Opening
a Game: Go to File -> Open Game. If you have a game that was
started already, and would like to add information or export a document from
that game, you can simply choose the current game from the "open game"
screen.
Step 4) Game
Details: Now on the main screen, enter all the information from step a-c
(Quarter & Time Information) and steps 1-5 (Down Information) and click
"add to game record"
