I. Overview:
Football
Play-by-Play Tracker by WheelBarrow Software will allow anyone to track & save
game play-by-
play and generate instant documentation for putting your team's game
summary on the web
a. Downloading:
When you attempt to download the file, make sure when prompted, that you save
the file vs. opening it from the location. Once you have saved it, you
can then double-click the file to install the designer.
b. Installation:
After you download the file, you will double click it to install the
software. Follow the instructions and when you are going to utilize the
application for the first time, please copy your serial number from your receipt
into the prompt including the dashes. For example:
FPBPTRK1456-503J-X3DK-RV66-8468-3321
This will be the only time you will need to provide the application with the
serial number unless you are going to reinstall the application.
The
protection on the application allows us to keep our prices down, and pass them
on to you so that the program cannot be easily shared.
IV. Menu:
File --> New Game
This will allow you to
create a new game.
File -->
Open Game
This will allow you to open a saved or previously created game.
File -->
Exit
This will exit the application.
Maintenance -->
Team Maintenance
This will allow you to add a new team to your database.
Maintenance -->
Player Maintenance
This will allow you to add/edit players to your teams in your database.

V. Troubleshooting:
Q:
What if I delete a player from a team; can I call up old game with their play
information in it?
A:
Yes, by deleting a player, this is similar to them being off the team or leaving
the team; their history is available to you in old games. If you want that
player back in your team list it is recommended, that you add a new player to
the team with the same name / or a different name
Q:
How do I save the game information?
A:
Since Football Play-by-Play Tracker is driven by a database, all the game
data is stored in it. Once you enter the information and click "add
to game" it is saved in the database; you don't have to save any
information.
Q:
I don't like the way the output looks / can I change it?
A:
Of course! Once you have output the html file which is a perfect
format for the web, you can easily move the html file into any html editor and
change the look and the feel and share it on your team's web site.
Q:
Can I score one team against itself for a possible "scrimmage"
scoring?
A:
Yes! Just simply set up a game with the home and visitor the same team
and you can score the game just like any other game.
