Football Play Designer v5 - 2007 Edition

The complete football play editor for both coaches and recreational players.

Building a Play:

Football Play Designer takes a unique approach to building football plays.  You can add players and place them wherever you would like on the field/screen.

When you have added your player, you can add motion routes, receiving routes, passing routes, and handoff routes.  Just added in 2004, there is now the option of Utilizing the Quick Play Option

Other Flash Tutorials:

Step 1)  First Add a Player to the Screen By Right Clicking or Using the Options Menu

Step 2) Right Click on the Player - Add Custom Pattern and Draw the Route Using the Left Mouse Button at each point of the route.  Click the Right Button to End.

Step 3) Add More Players to your play using steps one and two.

Step 4) Add a QB and Click the QB and custom passing route and add a passing route.  Add motion as well, as shown by the RB.  (Motion is drawn from the conclusion of the motion to the origin of the motion)

Step 5) When are you done, your play may look something like this.  You can create many different mutations of your plays.

Utilizing Quick Start:

Step 1)
Choose Option -> Quick Play, and the following screen will appear:

Step 2) The following screen will appear from the above window based on your settings.  You can choose an uneven amount of offensive and defensive players.

Step 3) You can then change each player's position if you wish, move the players around the screen and customize your play.  This option allows you to quickly add players in a uniform way.

Step 4) Just keep in mind, that when building a play, blocking routes and arrows can only be "clicked" on the field (not on a player); a route cannot be draw on top of a player.  If however, you want the route to "turn" or "end" at a player, simply draw the route first, and move the "blocked" or defensive player over the route line after..
